A GIANT “snowball”-shaped crystallized group of translucent, ivory colored Barite from the famous Elmwood Mine (weighing over 15 pounds)! This locality is known for producing a handful of species, but a few of them are some of the most noteworthy mineral specimens from the United States. The Elmwood Mine is also well known for producing large and highly displayable examples of these specimens. Taking into consideration the contact on the bottom side/edges, this piece is very competitively priced for the dramatic size.
Locality: Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
