A beautiful and certainly eye-catching display specimen of Barite from the famous Bulldog Mine in Creede. This piece is loaded with dozens upon dozens of bright, sharp, highly lustrous, white to nearly colorless, tabular bladed Barite crystals forming beautiful "rosette"-shaped aggregates coating virtually all of the display side of the specimen. To top it off, nearly every crystal on this specimen is undamaged! The piece can be displayed from several angles, as you can see from the photos, and the quality of the crystals is as fine as anything I have seen from Creede. A superb cabinet sized display specimen from this important Silver mine in Colorado, and a more than worthwhile piece for any collector of Colorado minerals. From my own personal collection.
