WULFENITE - $300

The main crystal on this piece has more pyramidal modifications, causing it to have "rounded" corners. There are several flattened, tabular crystals as well on this very aesthetic piece, with excellent color and good luster.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 4.5 x 4 x 2 cm. (Main crystal: 1.3 cm.)

WULFENITE - $25

Two small (3 mm. each), but very gemmy, bright orange crystals sit in a small Calcite/Limonite pocket. The price of the specimen is reflectd in the crystal size. This is still a nice piece for perhaps a mircomounter or somebody interested in having some gemmy crystals from the Red Cloud without having to pay very much.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 4.5 x 3.5 x 2 cm.

WULFENITE - (SOLD)

This one always reminds me of classic Red Cloud material. It would be a fantastic thumbnail if it wasn't for a ding on the right side of the specimen. It is still very attractive and has good luster, not to mention the fact that is displays without any kind of stand or clay.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.8 cm.

WULFENITE -
(SOLD)

The mirror-bright luster on this piece is phenomenal ! I admit that it doesn't have the best aesthetics, but this specimen has the best luster in the lot.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 5 x 4 x 4 cm.

Another piece with outstanding luster ! For some reason the pieces with the highest luster were a bit more intergrown, but these particular crystals are super sharp, with good color and some are water clear ! A real attractive specimen, despite a few minor dings.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 5 x 3.5 x 3 cm.

WULFENITE - $65 (SOLD)

This piece has very nice color crystals on an attractive contrasting Calcite matrix (overlaying the Limonite), but unfortunately these crystals are somewhat buried among the rock. A close up look will show that these crystals are very lustrous, sharp and gemmy, although there is some damage.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 5.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm.

WULFENITE - (SOLD)

This specimen is crystallized all the way around with literally dozens of crystals of good orange color and relatively good luster. On the "back" side of the specimen, there is a crystal that measures one inch across (lower left photo). A good price for a very well crystallized "cabinet" specimen.

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 7.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm.

WULFENITE - $750

An extremely aesthetic, small miniature specimen with great orange color and superb luster. The large crystal is a composite crystal growing on top of a "stop sign"-shaped crystal (see upper right photo). A really really great piece !

Locality: 150 Level, Red Cloud mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Specimen Size: 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm. (Crystal size: 2.3 cm.)
