A lovely Emerald from an uncommon locality, rarely seen from the Swat District of Pakistan! Beryls come in virtually every color and have some of the most vivid and rich pinks, yellow, blues and GREENS of any gems out there. This gem is a vibrant green "Emerald" gem with very good clarity. Emerald is classified as a type-3 gemstone which means that inclusions in the stones are acceptable in the trade for collectors and dealers, so this stone is fine quality, as the inclusions are minimal. There is a bit of color banding with slight colorless zones between the beautiful green Emerald. Emerald is the birthstone for May so this could make a great gift for someone special!
