At the end of Summer 2004, some of the finest Vivianite specimens from Bolivia were found at the Cañutillos mine. Sadly, no more have been found since that time, and it seems that this locality will not produce any more of these excellent Vivianites.   The crystals on these specimens have without question the best luster of any Vivianites to date from this country.  Another great feature of these pieces is the wonderful color contrast between the vivid green Vivianite and the altered red Sandstone.  Below we have a nice selection of attractive and affordable wholesale Vivianites from this great find.   Enjoy!
