The granite quarries at Baveno, Italy have been mined for approximately 500 years.   The area is probably best known for its Feldspar minerals, including some of the finest Orthoclase specimens in the world.  The locality gave its name to a specific twinning habit of Feldspar i.e., “Baveno Twin”, along with the species Bavenite.  Here we have a selection of specimens from this world famous locality, at wholesale prices.  Most of the pieces are in good shape, and if you’re a Feldspar collector, or a collector of European classics, these specimens would make a great addition to your collection.
