Comments: Green is one of the most difficult colors to find for Sapphire.  This particular stone has a greenish-yellow or yellowish-green color depending on how you view it, but it is nonetheless a bright stone and the fact that its from Montana makes all the difference.   The color is looks better than the photos would indicate.

Comments: Color Change Sapphires are on of the most fascinating gemstones on the planet, and this one is no exception.  This stone has an approximately 75% color change from house to sun light.  The fact that it is over a carat is very impressive, because the rough is very scarce.  The stone is a purple pink color in indoor lighting, and in sun light it does something interesting color change.  The stone almost looks like Mystic Topaz in sun light.  When you turn the stone in your hand the colors move and change from blue to purple with a slight amount of pinkish-orange showing.  I have never seen a color change Sapphire display so many interesting colors.  This is a fantastic collectors stone.
