CERUSSITE on Malachite
Locality: Tsumeb, Namibia
Specimen Size: 6 x 4.5 x 3.2 cm (small cabinet)
ex. Archduke of Saxony
Mined: 1905.
Unfortunately, it was very difficult for me to get the Cerussite crystals to show up on the Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite, but hopefully they look alright on your screen. The significance of this specimen is the fact that is was collected around the turn of the century and came from the Archduke of Saxony's collection.
