dealers and collectors alike for their amazing likeness reminiscent to specimens
from the world famous, old, classic mining district of Bisbee, Arizona. Simply
put, most knowledgeable mineral experts would attest to the fact that the best
AZURITE
and MALACHITE
combination specimens are indeed those from Bisbee.
Most mineral enthusiasts who have seen these specimens were simply awestruck by
the fact that these Chinese pieces are virtually impossible to distinguish from
the VERY characteristic specimens from Bisbee. For those of you who love these
two minerals, but never had the chance to get a great one from Bisbee, here is
your chance to get a "Bisbee-like" specimen. These are very nice specimens that undoubtedly match the quality and

Here we have a beautifully contrasting specimen consisting of very attractive,
highly lustrous, sharp, gemmy deep blue color (Nearly black) crystals of Azurite
with a small mint green patch of Malachite sitting on top of a gossan matrix.
The luster is outstanding on these Azurite crystals. This piece has beautiful Azurite crystals on both
sides of the specimen, however the crystals on the display side are very good
quality.

prismatic crystals and "rosettes" of AZURITE associated with beautiful
mint-green MALACHITE. Towards the base of the specimen on the display side
lies a small, attractive, rich green color, sphere of Malachite sprinkled with
small, gemmy, rich blue color Azurite crystal. The reverse side of this
specimen features two "vugs" with velvety, dark-green Malachite spheres
associated with some small, fine quality Azurite crystals.

This piece is very unique
because it has several layers of crystallization. One layer exhibits very
dark blue, minutely crystallized compact "rosettes" of Azurite, while the
reverse side has larger, lighter blue color, less compact "rosettes" with a
olive-green band of Malachite running between the two layers. This piece is
crystallized on both sides, and can be displayed from many angles.

indicate.
This piece features absolutely beautiful, fantastically crystallized (especially
for Azurite), lustrous, sharp, gemmy, azure blue color, textbook, "sword"-shaped
prismatic crystals and of Azurite associated with beautiful intense-green
Malachite. The rich color of the Malachite contrasting against the deep
blue Azurite makes this piece one of the most attractive specimens in the lot.
When viewed at the micro level, one can see the tiny crystals of Azurite
actually altering to Malachite. Not only is the Malachite
aesthetic, but it has a great chatoyancy and much better color than shows up in
the photos.
