For those fans of highly etched gem crystals, this one is for you. It has rather deeply etched caverns considering the relative size of the crystal. The piece can be displayed from several angles, as you can see in the photos.

This crystal has some of the most well formed, un-etched, smooth crystal faces of any that I have seen from this locality. It is not 100% complete, but it does show excellent form and is fairly gemmy as well.

This crystal is a bit more etched than some of the others in the lot, but has a very attractive wedge-shape and is absolutely water-clear in areas.

This rather gemmy crystal shows small etching patterns on all sides. It has a slightly deeper champagne color than most, and is actually a good piece of gem rough due to its blocky shape and great transparency.

Locality: Palelni mine, Khetchel Village, Molo Quarter, Momeik Township, Shan Sate, Burma (Myanmar)

Specimen Size: 2.2 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm.

One of the largest crystals in the lot with a very sculptural appearance due to the dramatic etching that took place. This crystal is extremely gemmy, and has a delicate glassy luster all over. A very cool toenail specimen with a beautiful form.

Locality: Palelni mine, Khetchel Village, Molo Quarter, Momeik Township, Shan Sate, Burma (Myanmar)

This crystal has a good balance of being both etched and un-etched. The silhouette of piece shows it has a very classic form, but upon closer inspection one can see that it has some very attractive etching patterns throughout. The piece has excellent luster and gemminess, making it one of the most interesting pieces in the lot.

Locality: Palelni mine, Khetchel Village, Molo Quarter, Momeik Township, Shan Sate, Burma (Myanmar)

This smooth yet pointed wedge-shaped crystal has some deep zones of etching, but still shows part of its original crystal form. The nearly transparent quality combined with the lovely champagne color and shapely appearance make this a wonderfully unique crystal from this find.

The best euhedral crystal in the lot. It is one of the finest Petalite crystals that I have seen from any locality due to its nearly water-clear transparency and complete crystal faces. It is priced well below many other similar crystals that I have seen from the locality.
