These gems are sometimes referred to as "Paraiba Quartz", due to the fact that the inclusions were originally thought to be vibrant Copper-bearing Tourmaline crystals - aka “Paraiba Tourmaline”. Gilalite inclusions are much rarer than Tourmaline, which makes these stones much more exciting and worthwhile for collectors. This is a very unique stone because it has both vibrant blue and green Gilalite  "sprays" and Iron Oxide dendrite inclusions, which is very rare.  One of the only gems of this material that I have seen.

Comments: This is one of the most impressive examples of Pyrite in Quartz that I have ever seen. From the look of the growth patterns, a sharp octahedral Pyrite crystal grew on top of a crystal face of clear Quartz, then a second Quartz crystal overgrew the Pyrite, completely trapping it inside. There is more than one layer of Pyrite crystals inside so this process happened at least twice. There are also some Iron Oxide dendrites the stone as well.  For quality, this is a remarkable specimen, and a great opportunity for an inclusion collector to add a unique and impressive stone to their collection.
