Fluorite (phantoms) on Albite with Quartz (var: Smoky) -
$400
This
is one of the best specimens of this material that I have seen.
It is a very three-dimensional piece with dozens of sharp, gemmy,
lilac to purple color phantom crystals of cubic Fluorite which
are sitting all around a snow-white matrix of Albite and are
associated with a few accenting, gemmy Smoky Quartz crystals.
This one certainly would not disappoint as it very dramatic
and eye-catching for this locality.
Locality: Dreamtime Claim, Crystal Peak area, Teller County,
Colorado
Specimen Size: 10.2 x 9.4 x 6.8 cm.
Largest Fluorite: 1.5 cm. on edge

A beautiful display piece from the Dreamtime Claim.

Fluorite on Albite and Microcline with Montmorillonite (?) -
$135
If
nothing else, this is a very attractive Feldspar specimen comprised
of white Albite and lustrous, unusually curved pink Microcline
crystals which host a few small, pale lilac, sharp, gemmy Fluorite
cubes. On the reverse side of the specimen there are a few small
vugs filled with a bright yellow clay mineral (most likely Montmorillonite),
which is the first time I have seen this species from this locality.
Locality: Dreamtime Claim, Crystal Peak area, Teller County,
Colorado
Specimen Size: 12.3 x 11.2 x 3.8 cm.
Largest Fluorite: 0.4 cm. on edge

Fluorite (phantoms) on Albite with Thorianite (?) -
$225
(SOLD)
A
sweet Fluorite specimen from this locality with several nearly
water-clear, sharp, lilac to purple cubic phantom crystals
which are resting upon a mound of white snowball like Albite.
There is a small vug on the reverse of the specimen with some
small crude crystals of what I believe to be Thorianite based
upon previous finds at this locality. There is a close up photo
of these crystals above.
Locality: Dreamtime Claim, Crystal Peak area, Teller County,
Colorado
Specimen Size: 9.2 x 5.2 x 4.4 cm.
Largest Fluorite: 0.8 cm. on edge
